First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest THANK YOU to all the fans… yes, YOU! Your patience and enthusiasm have helped us get to here. Just exactly where are we? We hope at the beginning of something big. It all started as a small indie project with no other desire than to share years of music with the public. As soon as some heard a few tracks, a groundswell of support from friends and fans, old and new, provided the encouragement to take things another step forward… then another… and another. It resulted in a months -long journey that led to The Experiment EP, Alain’s first official solo release. So, again, thank you to everyone that was there during the process and to you for being here now. As cliché as it sounds, it truly has been a labor of love and it wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you.
A couple of additional notes for now…
The site is brand new. It’s going to grow and offer all sorts of things we think you’ll really like and want to be a part of. As with anything new, it may not be perfect and will experience growing pains. In fact, it may have issues at launch that need to be worked out. As you’ve proven already to be a patient lot, we expect you’ll understand and please just know that we will do whatever we can to resolve things as quickly as possible. We realize many of you are here to pre-order the EP, etc. At the top of our list of priorities is to make sure the ordering process goes as smoothly as possible. One issue we are trying to sort out is a means to provide a more economical way to ship items internationally. We literally are at the mercy of the USPS regarding fees. If you live outside of the US (and even more specifically outside of North America), you will notice base shipping charges as much as ~$24.50 for one 12” record (only slightly more if additional items are added). That is our cost. The shipping costs are not padded in any way. In fact, we aren’t even covered for the cost of shipping materials and are taking a hit to try to keep costs down. We are trying to sort out possible solutions such as overseas distribution and we will advise on these options as they become available. As it currently stands, there is considerable savings per item if for example a customer orders two records and maybe a cd. Just please know we want to get the order to you in the most economical and fair way as possible and will do what we can. Thank you for your understanding.
